for a Special Fundraising Event in Support of Russ Warner
April 25, 2006
La Canada-Flintridge
http://www.warnerforcongress.com/

(Russ Warner is running for US Representative in California's 26th District)

"A successful small businessman from Rancho Cucamonga, Russ Warner decided to run for Congress at the urging of his son, Greg, who spent 17 months in Iraq.

Russ Warner will protect the middle class. His opponent consistently supports tax breaks for the wealthy at the expense of our seniors and children.

Russ Warner will fight for better healthcare and education. David Dreier misuses his position as the chair of the powerful House Rules Committee to advance the agenda of the Bush administration.

The Los Angeles Times recently reported there are two California incumbents in trouble this November – one of those is David Dreier."

1. protect the middle class?
do any politicians in america make pronouncements about helping the working class? i only ever seem to see references to middle class and the rich/upper class, very rarely do i see anyone mention 'working class'.

2. His district represents mostly "middle class" families

although the distinction between middle and working classes is growing smaller. Warner believes he can resist the trend toward a two-class system by helping small business.

3. thanks
my point was more general though, and perhaps this topic isn't the place for it. i am genuinely interested to know if there are any politicians who make clear they support the working class foremost?
