Bloomberg's "Iran Nuke" scare headline: let them hear about it.
As discussed on other threads, Bloomberg headlined a story about Iran nuclear development with a screaming scare headline that disagreed with the reporting in the story itself. The story itself makes quite clear that Iran is very far away indeed from being able to produce nuclear weapons.

The extremely misleading Bloomberg headline wound up at the top of the Google News page this morning:

DUer Magellan has provided us a link to give feedback to Bloomberg regarding this matter:

Feel free to let Bloomberg know that their misleading headlines are not helpful in an environment where the nation could again be easily misled into war by an Administration seemingly intent on doing so.

Gracias.

1. The Problem is...
...the "US State Department Official" who said it.

5. The "US State Department Official," didn't say "16 days from now,"
as the headline implies.

4. You're welcome.
It's probably tilting at windmills, but the headline was viewed by a lot of eyes, not only at Bloomberg but at Google and through Google alerts.

6. Ah well, Josh Marshall and atrios both have the story now.
I'm sure that'll get Bloomberg some richly deserved comments.
