So I'm in my garage, making some shirts, I have AAR Phoenix blasting with my garage door open, Randi Rhodes is going off on Bush...a repub walks by getting the mail and stops at my door. Starts going off on me for listening to AAR Phoenix...telling me that they are a bunch of un-American traitors and they shouldn't be allowed to be broadcasting on the radio...he was about to set foot in my garage but when he saw my Louisville Slugger right next to me he backed up...LOL...

So I ask him what he listens to, he says the usual...Rush and Orielly. So I told him that those two are the biggest misinforming, lying bastards and they shouldn't be on the radio either...spreading their misleading and downright false information, not to mention one is a drug addict and the other sexually harrasses women...He says that I must be a liberal traitor, I tell him that he's probably a Faux News watching MORON! He stormed off calling me every name in the book...

WTF is wrong with these people...? Going to start something with me because I'm listening to AAR...?

I got an email the other day from a member of a non-profit board I am on asking me to remove statements from my personal email signature block because they may be devisive and offensive. I was so pissed I fired back a huge temper tantrum. No way! (The offensive statement was one pointing out that with what Iraq war costs in 3-6 weeks, every school child in USA could have After School Program for a year. How this is offensive to a board that assists the local ASP financially as often as possible is beyond me.)

I see it as a subliminal copy of *'s attitude. "If you don't agree with me you are the enemy." I told the woman who wrote me that I found W2004 stickers offensive so if I had to remove my signatures then board members with W2004 stickers ought to have to remove them too.

I don't believe that is what free speech means, however. I think it means if I don't like the W2004 sticker I ignore it (and consider myself warned about the person driving the vehicle - which is handy because most of the time the vehicle cutting me off is a Lexus SUV w/said sticker).

that happened to me last summer..and the third time the guy came back i finally called the police..the police got mad i didn't call the first time the guy stepped on my property..

it was similar ..i was in my garage..but i had a huge sign on my house supporting

well the guy was verbally abusive..

and came into my garage..and was nuts..the third time the guy came back i called the cops..
police told me i should have called the first time..

please next time for your safety ..call the police..
that way you have it on record..

you should keep a crowbar or a sledge hammer handy in the garage for cases like that, their on your property with out your consent. I'm a non-violent person but after I was driving to work one day a few years back and had the windows rolled down because the AC was broke, I had some drunk idiot try to open my car door and car jack me. After that I placed a crowbar under the seat for protection.
