IAEA/UN Inspectors: Iraq v. Iran by the numbers:
Edited on Sun Apr-09-06 08:54 AM by Earth_First
On November 18, a team of about 30 weapons inspectors, led by the chief weapons inspector, Hans Blix, and the director of the IAEA, Mohammed el-Baradei, returned to Baghdad to begin Unmovic's work.

Meanwhile:

Five U.N. weapons inspectors arrived in Iran to visit uranium enrichment and reprocessing plants for the first time since the country suspended surprise inspections in February, state media reported Saturday.

So basically what the administration is telling us (if your memory serves us correctly) was that there were not enough weapons inspectors in December of 2002 to accomplish adequate inspections of Iraq's (nuclear) weapons facilities...However, in Iran, a country roughly TWICE the size of Iraq, 5, count them, 1,2,3,4,5 are going to adequately account for their weapons production capability?

This is a set up from day one.

1. Actually they were inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency
Not weapons inspectors per se and Iran signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty so inspections are part of the process. Iran has followed the Law to the letter and inspectors time and time again have stated that Iran is not trying to make nuclear weapons. Iran has done everything according to Hoyle while countries like Pakistan, Israel, India have done the opposite. Guess which ones are our friends? America is becoming a world class laughing stock..
