do they explain the president speaking out on and against the leak - in this very case? How do they explain this means for quickly disposing of the story in the first week (back in 2003) if this were the case? Some very hard contortions one has to make to 'buy' the line being spun.

2. "Outing" CIA agent is a crime even if it is not a "leak".
Let's see.

Authorized outing of CIA agent.

Spied on citizens in violation of FISA.

Lied to Congress about pre-war intelligence.

Obstructed justice for above.

How much more guilty does this asshole have to be?:banghead:

3. Even the President can't lie to a US Attorney
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 12:16 PM by leveymg
That's what this is all about. Bush told Fitz he didn't know about the efforts of his underlings to discredit Wilson. We now learn that he ordered them to leak classified CIA documents to do just that. It's called Obstruction of Justice.

Even a Freeper can understand that.

Case closed.

6. something almost poetic of it coming down to the Obstruction
of Justice... given what he had to hear ad nauseum during the Clinton years.
