More evidence of liberal media (Daniel Schorr re Alice Fischer)

My response:

I was disappointed today by Daniel Schorr's soft report about Alice S. Fisher. Of anyone in journalism who should understand the importance of her appointment, it would be he.

That an associate of Edward R. Murrow would fail to discuss her lack of prosecutorial experience. He also had the opportunity to discuss the fact she is a recent Bush recess appointment. He further missed the limitations of her authority becasue this case should merit an independant prosecutor with the effective proxy of the Attorney General. After all, why should this prosecutor have less authority than the Plame case warranted?

I hope you understand Mr. Schorr, as Mr. Murrow did so well, that in these times We The People need strong advocacy in the press. Especially from a non-profit also receiving tax dollars as a stipend.
