He lambasted the Bush administration over Katrina.

2. He's a dem....
He's become more vocal about it lately though. I still don't know why the country music establishment hasn't given him more of a hard time about it.

3. He is a Democrat, has bashed Bush and said he may consider running for
public office from Tennessee (Gov or Senate, I can't remember which) sometime in the future.

5. As I understand it, he's like his father Tug
A free spirit who doesn't really have a huge political underpinning, but doesn't like unfairness. I think he has become a dem lately.

6. It doesn't matter anymore
They say they are against the war and tax cuts but they still voted for both.

8. Is he the one with the song about the boot in the ass of non-Americans
That my way or the highway, bushbutt kissing right wing schlocky song made me seethe, and I do not really listen to country music. So if I have the wrong guy, someone tell me.

9. You must be thinking of Toby Keith
Tim McGraw supposedly told his band and road crew in 2004 that he would fire anyone who voted for Bush.

11. So he's as much as a facist as the employer who fired someone ...
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 12:16 PM by Mike Daniels
for having a political bumper sticker that he didn't agree with on her car in the company parking lot a year or so ago.

Seriously, how would McGraw ever frickin' know who his band or staff voted for anyway?

12. I didn't say he did fire them. He just said he would
I don't think he was serious...he was making a point that he hated Bush and wanted him out.
