Fox News, and I may be scorned for this comment, presents a much more balanced opinion of what is really going on. I started watching a month ago after CNN pissed me off. I was really surprised because I vowed never to watch that network. I can't stand Hannity ans O'Reilly but most of the time they report the news just like they say Fair and Balanced. They talk about all the bad that is going on in Iraq but they also report some of the good.... and yes there is some good going on over there... just not enough.

BTW: "Fair and balanced" has no place in news reporting. Accuracy and complete presentation of facts is all that's required. There are not two sides to every event, not two sides to every story. There are the facts, and there is Truthiness.

There is nothing balanced about Faux News. Watch the little nuances of their reports. Behind the flashy graphics and the bigoted hosts catering to the lowest common denominator, there's nothing but bias.

I don't want the personal views of the journalists in my news. I don't want news that only defends our leadership and tries to justify wars we never should've been involved in. I don't even want news that tells me how fantastic our economy is while the soup kitchen lines continue to grow.

I want the straight facts. Let me make my own opinions.
