17. DeLay is leaving, which means the Repugs can pick a stronger
candidate to run against the Democrat now, right? I remember a lot of DUers were glad when DeLay won the primary, because they were certain he would lose in the election against a strong, non-indicted Democratic candidate.

Now that possibility is gone. Could this be the intent all along?

22. I really wonder what's behind this? I don't believe DeLay would
EVER quit...unless there's a bigger bomb shell about to hit! I know one his top aides is reported to have cooperated with the Feds. I really don't think this is the end of the story, but the beginning.
