Mann Coulter Being A Racist Prick (Again)
From her latest article

Kwanzaa bells, dashikis sell

Whitey has to pay;

Burning, shooting, oh what fun

On this made-up holiday!

Yes, unlike that REAL holiday Saturnalia--oops, I mean Christmas, Kwanzaa is a made up holiday celebrated by blacks who shoot and burn up everything on site.

Cute.

1. Am I supposed to be surprised that Coulter is a bigot?
Sorry, but I wasn't born yesterday.

Besides, this has already been posted about fifty times.

What anxiety she must have to obsess over something as nonthreatening as Kwanzaa.

3. I'm telling you, that's the new racism
these people haven't changed at all.

But they can't be as overt as they used to be with their racism.

So now racism is done on an "opt-out" basis.

Its sort of like, "Well, I'm not saying all black people are violent thugs. Just most of them. I like Colin Powell and Condi, but they are exceptions".

And shit like that.

The racists always throw on that little qualifier so they can feel better.

And, as a minority, you are in a position to prove to them why you don't fit their stereotypes. Once you do, you will be accepted (at least, to your face).

And then, you will become their example, their proof.

"I'm not racist! See, I know _______ and _________ ".

4. Don't even give her the time of day.
She's nothing more than an attention whore and IRL likely has shitty self-esteem. Reaffirm that shitty self-esteem by paying her no attention whatsoever. She deserves it.

6. Ugh. The repubs lap it up like puppies
and the dems watch in morbid fascination. I prefer to pretend she doesn't exist. Except in threads like this. :D

7. This is the state of our society
she is given a voice in the airwaves to spew her radical ugliness and it gives her the appearance of legitimacy. When MSM has her on the Today Show as someone whose opinion is worth considering, it is a sign of societal degradation.

10. Anyone who is for racial justice has to be against Coulter
and her ilk. This just reinforces the idea I've had for a long time-that the repuke party deserted its roots and welcomed in racists and bigots. How any minority could support or vote for these clowns is beyond me.

14. What I find absolutely fascinating
about Coulter's article is her absolutely insane "logic" whereby she condemns Kwanzaa, partially by claiming that it was a creation on an FBI "stooge" who was chosen by the FBI because he was so radical. As she writes "the FBI encouraged the most extreme black nationalist organizations in order to discredit and split the left" and "now we know that the FBI fueled the bloody rivalry between the Panthers and United Slaves." The FBI's tactics were simply, in her words, "foolish gamble."

According to her worldview then, the FBI's fomenting of violence, their clear violation of civil liberties, and the policy of disinformation to discredit political opposition was a tactical "mistake," along the lines of "damn, if only J. Edgar and the boys hadn't shot Hampton and Clarke and supported Karenga by mistake then today we wouldn't have Karenga adding to grade inflation at Cal State Long Beach, and we wouldn't have to worry about Kwanzaa making the baby Jesus cry. Oops, our bad"

Her article is so batshit crazy, I simply don't know where to end. Two last bits, one a contortion of remarkable dexterity: "Despite modern perceptions that blend all the black activists of the '60s, the Black Panthers did not hate whites. They did not seek armed revolution." No shit. So why did you and your right-wing cronies say so for the past thirty or so years. And finally, if you divest her article of her utter racist, snide bullshit, and just present the "facts" about the FBI under latest breaking news, we would all - justifiably - be screaming about what was done and what is still being done. Gotta love Coulter. Everytime, I think she is simply coasting on her wingnuttery and doesn't believe any of her shit, she does something like this.

15. i know nothing about Kwanza. But i know only a few people celebrated

Xtianity at first. And then it grew. And people came together at that time - peace on earth and all the rest.

Give it 2000 years. And then ask the questions. The powers that be were not into Xtianity either. And for the same reason that Ann isn't into Kwanza... it meant less control over the people who were not following traditional hierarchies.

IMHO
