All but 3 of the ferrets are still with us and living the good life with us waiting on them hand and foot now. I live in a rural area, specially cats tend to be dropped off a lot. All are rescues except the shepherd and ferrets. I stay away from the local ferret rescue's ferrets, though help her other ways.

isn't a hard news program, it's supposed to be the top stories that people will talk about the next day. Maybe since I'm a baseball fan I happen to hang out with more baseball fans but everyone I work with is talking about this. It is a big deal to baseball fans if a known cheater breaks some of the most hallowed records in the sport.

if he didn't get to cover this story with all his heart.

Besides, Bonds matters. If we can't have cleanliness and fairness in our sports and games, how can we expect to have them in any other of our cultural institutions? It's not "just a game." It's part of what reflects who we are. If we don't care about juiced-up ballplayers who cheat to hit home runs, how will we care about presidents who lie about far greater things?

Once you start down the slippery slope, you just stop caring about the truth...anywhere.
