ASK CONGRESS: Is it a war crime to give Iraq's oil to US corporations?
Democrats in Congress seem to be having a hard time finding their footing on Iraq, so maybe they need our help.

You should call up you Congressman and Senators and ask them this simple question:

Is it a war crime to invade another country and dictate what they do with their natural resources to suit our oil companies?

If you don't know what we have done about Iraq's oil, the first link will tell you about the White House meetings with oil execs and plans to privatize and give them the oil.

The second link covers the current negotiations for profit sharing, that are a more sophisticated scam than the naked theft originally planned.

If people asked these kind of questions often enough, maybe they will stop mouthing the Bush bullshit about terrorists, democracy, and finishing the job.

The job was stealing oil. You don't help someone finish a crime.

You don't end a home invasion robbery by teaching one of the family members held hostage to point a gun at the others.

You don't support the troop by prolonging their involvement in a crime that they didn't choose.

1. Makes you think reparations should be discussed.
Remember when the US courts slapped about a billion dollar judgement on Iraq over torturing and holding about 10 Americans. We made Iraq pay reparations over Kuwait even though we were complicit in letting it happen. Using the US courts as a benchmark we probably owe the Iraqis about $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 plus interest, late penalty, and collection fees.

2. Yet, we were told Iraqi oil would pay the costs of the war
rather than U.S. taxpayers. I hope this entire administration is made to legally answer for all of their lies to us.

3. Which corporations are getting Iraq's un-metered oil?
I don't have a link -- but from what I remember from the early days of the invasion -- Iraq's oil is being pumped into oil tankers -- un-metered. So there is no record -- of how much oil is being stolen and by which corporations.

We hear productions numbers -- so there must be some sort of estimate of how much oil is being pumped out of the oil fields. Where is this oil going?

From what I understand the major oil suppliers to the US are Canada and Venezuela -- Iraq isn't mentioned as supplying the oil needs of the US.

So where is the Iraq oil going -- which countries/nations are buying this oil? Do the proceeds of the Iraq oil sales go directly to an oil corporation or to the US treasury -- it's doubtful that the money is being banked for the Iraqi people.

So many questions.

4. W said it would be wrong for us to take the oil Iraqi profits
(after he said it would pay for the war costs). He said the Iraqi people needed the profit. So he stuck us with the costs and private companies are getting the profits.
