Kaloogian is already changing his story. Yesterday, upon being confronted about the pic's authenticity, he insisted it WAS Iraq and claimed that he was only allowed to show non-descript photos with no Arabic writing. Right! (thanks to DUer KBlagburn for that) Now his campaign blames it on the webmaster, who put up a picture from their Turkey stopover.

Get REAL! This wasn't just a mix-up. If you're posting a photo as a Republican politician trying to make the case that Baghdad is safe & sound, that it's NOT all bad over there as "the media" portrays... basically, if you're posting a picture to make an argument in the most contentious issue of the day... you would at the very least make sure the picture is from Iraq!

4. Gosh sometimes "conservatives" have to bend the truth

to offset the evil liberal media. And besides, the picture is irrelevant because all good god fearing patriotic americans don't need any proof of any news from anywhere. Whatever the president and vice president tells them is gospel.
