Charlie Sheen Report--Headline News
Was that cool, or what? Alex Jones is right--if prominent people, even prominent Republicans who served under *Reagan*, think that there was a 9/11 coverup, I don't think that this is only being believed by "wackjobs". The real wackjobs are the neocons.

1. It's unreal that it takes a person like Charlie Sheen
to bring this to the headlines. His dad taught him well. You just never know where the next break is coming from. Maybe now, somemore people will jump on the wagon.

2. Prominent people, Reagan Repubs...
That is cool. Yet there are still many here in our hallowed halls that will strike out at you and call you a conspiracy theorist and say you are making everyone else look bad.

TFB!

Haha! I'm so happy to see this coming to a head!

5. I think the way to handle the folks who would call someone a
conspiracy theorists is

1. Like Sheen said the "official story" is a conspiracy theory and
2. Cut the issue as the "Official Story' isn't true and complete.

If and when people go into this detail or that detail, then the odds are a lot higher of meeting resistence. For instance, if one claims the attack was planned inside the White House there is sure to be much more resistence than if one says "The official story is lacking."

I thought Sheen handled his interview very well.

3. What people here, at DU, don't seem to understand
is that this issue/reality is not particular to the left.

Even Righties are perfectly willing to sign on as long as we allow them to enter the building via the Able Danger portal. All they need is a little blame Clinton and they're right there with the rest of us nut-balls.

I say, as long as they open their eyes to wherever it leads, give them their blame Clinton. What do we care?

12. Yeah they sure went after WACO and Ruby Ridge with
conspiracy theories too didn't they. And both Free Speech TV and Link TV aren't OVERLY liberal not to show that one conspiracy film about what happened in WACO.

I think that one needs to not assume one knows exactly or even partially how it REALLY went down. You might have a strong theory that to you makes sense with all of the facts as you've come across them, which might differ from the official story, but that doesn't make your theory any more correct than the "official story" theory. What really is needed is a thorough and independent investigation to get answers when the facts don't add up with the official story. That's not hanging onto conspiracy theories. It's tring to explain something that hasn't been adequately investigated. There's a difference in that approach in that it doesn't have a predisposed judgement of what happened. Certainly outline other theories and ask that they be looked at to be either discounted or supported, but don't say that "they happened that way" at this point.

4. Just shows how the MSM works:
it takes a celebrity to hit the headlines. Forget scientists, academics, retired politicians and military.

Good for Charlie, though. Looks like another dam is breaking.

If this gains momentum the only thing left to break will be election fraud.

7. for Alex Jones via Sheen to get MSM attention is amazing
he, like Michael Ruppert/many others have been all over the research of the horrific events of that day-since that day.

11. actually...Jones
was reporting on 9/11 since July of 2001.

He didn't know the exact date, but he knew it would be New York, and he knew they were going to blame Bin Laden, and he knew it would happen over the next couple of weeks, and he has the community service tv archives and radio show archives to back him up. It's not his fault if the media and people didn't listen.

Fortunately, they're listening now.

6. I am amazed at how many people believe it was MIHOP or LIHOP
Many of these people are not politically savvy, they don't spend hours on DU (like some people I know  ) yet they have all come to the same conclusion.

The NeoCons thought they were so damned smart. But if a wrinkled, poor old mountain woman I know has them figured out, their game is no more "secret" than something contrived by grade-schoolers.

I love Charlie. I love his show and I love his character and I think he's awesome for speaking out. The floodgates have opened people. Expect a lot of "speaking out" from here on out. Me so happy! :bounce:

Charlie: :yourock: :headbang: :applause:

15. WHDH Boston: "Is Charlie Sheen off the wagon again? You won't BELIEVE...
his comments!"

That's how they teased the story last night on the news.
