San Diego Protest Yesterday
What the HECK is this?

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/20060319-9999-2m19war.html .

I was THERE yesterday, and marched from Santa Fe Station to Balboa Park, and I calculated that there had to be at least 2,000 of us (1,500 would be a conservative estimate).

And, if you'd taken an aerial shot, it would have been awesome.

And yet this newspaper went with the police estimate of only several hundred!

And Faiza was present (I had been to a lunch on Friday at which she spoke)! She spoke with many and eloquently articulated the suffering of the Iraqi people.

Her blog is at: www.afamilyinbaghdad.blogspot.com .

1. LOL! Sorry, I so totally misread the thread title
I read as what San Diego was protesting was "yesterday" itself. Not the Beatles song, but that they were literally protesting yesterday.

Yep, it's time for Rabrrrrrr's sunday afternoon nap...

2. HeeHee.
Enjoy your nap!

(Maybe I should have just taken one yesterday, instead of trying to bring the injustice of this war to the public's attention; of course, I wouldn't have had as much fun!)

3. obviously, if the media downplays the numbers, this will make the *
look better, like his poll numbers and approval are not plummeting to the bottom. the media lies when they cover us at all, always underestimating.
