The '06 Democratic platform should be 'terra, terra, terra'.
The GOP has set the stage and planted fear in the everyday person's mind. We have seen the results of this when the Dubai deal came up. The average person is scared to death. All the seeds have been planted and as much as I hate what the chimp has done, this could be used to our advantage.

The strongest 'terra' argument is what we have already established - * is soft on terror when he attempts to use his first veto to let Dubai take over the ports.

The next argument, that we are tough on terror and they are not, can be established by stating how many of our ports are foreign owned and how we tried to introduce a bill that would require a 100% of containers be checked but the soft on terror Republicans voted it down.

A great commercial would be to show the towers coming down. Show * stating that Bin Laden financed it. Tell the audience how when no other flights were allowed out of the country, the Bin Laden family were allowed to fly out. Then show * stating he does not know where Osama is and he is just not on his mind.

This war on terror can be won, by us, on many fronts. I think we could firmly establish who really cares about the country and protecting it versus who says they do but we know how they really feel.
