H&R Block Sends Out Boxes With Personal Info

OMAHA, Neb. -- H&R Block said Thursday that it mistakenly printed Social Security numbers on boxes arriving across the country.

Inside the box is a free copy of tax software.

The mailing labels included names, addresses and Social Security numbers. An H&R Block spokeswoman said that fewer than 3 percent of the boxes included the numbers, but the company isn't saying how many copies of the software were sent out.
