From this day forward, I want surviellance cameras and tapes in every room of the White house, except bedrooms and bathrooms. This goes for the Vice President's residence too.
I want these cameras to be open to cable and satellite channels to be set aside for this purpose and paid for by the government so that these camera shots are available to the public 24/7. These are the people's houses that they are allowed to occupy, and we have a landlord's right to demand accountability for what goes on there.
I want the same in all vehicles, aircraft and boats used by the President and his staff in an official capacity. This also is true of Camp David and Crawford whenever any or all members of his administration gather to have "working vacations".
I want all minutes of meetings, documents signed and any other pertinent matters and business crossing the desks of this administration to be made public on the government websites within 24 hours.
If legislation or vetoes get passed without our knowledge, we have reason to suspect that business was conducted in bedrooms, bathrooms, underground parking garages and private homes. Any such business should be considered invalid and not officially sanctioned.
:sarcasm:
Truthfully though, I think we should demand that all administrations from this time forward be more transparent and demand honesty from them or face the consequences of stiff fines or penalties. If we had an ammendment to this effect, Bush would have been indicted many times over for his lies and the lack of openess in his administration.
