"God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

Biblical Prophecies

Predictions of the End of the World
Many people believe that the Bible says the Battle of Armageddon, the Antichrist and the return of Jesus will occur in 2007. On this page I elaborate on this prediction and outline the reasons why.

The Scenario
The war will start in 2007. The antichrist will stand in the Jewish Temple of Jerusalem and declare that he is God. The Bible calls this the 'abomination of desolation'. Shortly after this the Arab nations will unite against Israel. Egypt will lead Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan - every nation with a border with Israel - against it. Russia and its allies will join on the side of the Arabs. During the fight the US and Russia will use nuclear weapons against each other. The war will leave 2 billion dead.

<snip>

What will the war be like?
Revelation 9:13-16 states that the war will involve '200 million soldiers and 'slay the third part of men.' This means that 2 billion (1/3 of the Earth's population) would die - a conceivable figure for a nuclear war. Such a war could use 200 million men. ..........
Conclusion
So that is the evidence. In 2007 the Battle of Armageddon will take place, there will be nuclear war and Jesus will return. However, some of these interpretations of the text are fairly loose, so if in doubt read through them again and make your own mind up. Whether you believe in this or not is largely a matter of faith, and either way, we will know in 6 years.

And the Players in God's Band:

Fred Phelps (Westboro Baptist Church)

"You telling these miserable, Hell-bound, bath house-wallowing, anal-copulating fags that God loves them!? You have bats in the belfry!"

James Dobson (Focus on the Family)

"State Universities are breeding grounds, quite literally, for sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV), homosexual behavior, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, alcoholism, and drug abuse."

Fob James (Governor of Alabama)

"A good butt-whipping and then a prayer is a wonderful remedy."

Pat Robertson

"I know this is painful for the ladies to hear, but if you get married, you have accepted the headship of a man, your husband. Christ is the head of the household and the husband is the head of the wife, and that's the way it is, period."

Jerry Falwell

"AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals. To oppose it would be like an Israelite jumping in the Red Sea to save one of Pharoah's chariotters."

President or Prophet?
11 October 2004

An analysis of 70 years of presidential rhetoric reveals the radicalism of Bush's religion.

By David Domke and Kevin Coe

The religious outlook of George W. Bush has been the focus of recent stories by several major news media. In these pieces White House officials and allies consistently have made the case that Bush’s faith and language are no different from past presidents. In the words of the Rev. Richard Neuhaus in The Washington Post, “This is so conventionally Christian piety and Christian faith” that Bush’s faith is “as American as apple pie.”

That simply is not so. Bush’s fusion of faith and politics is anything but conventional for the presidency.
http://www.therevealer.org/archives/main_story_000998.php

The Apostolic Congress dates its origins to 1981, when, according to its website, "Brother Stan Wachtstetter was able to open the door to Apostolic Christians into the White House." Apostolics, a sect of Pentecostals, claim legitimacy as the heirs of the original church because they, as the 12 apostles supposedly did, baptize converts in the name of Jesus, not in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Ronald Reagan bore theological affinities with such Christians because of his belief that the world would end in a fiery Armageddon. Reagan himself referenced this belief explicitly a half-dozen times during his presidency.

While the language of apocalyptic Christianity is absent from George W. Bush's speeches, he has proven eager to work with apocalyptics—a point of pride for Upton. "We're in constant contact with the White House," he boasts. "I'm briefed at least once a week via telephone briefings. . . . I was there about two weeks ago . . . At that time we met with the president."

Last spring, after President Bush announced his Road Map plan for peace in the Middle East, the Apostolic Congress co-sponsored an effort with the Jewish group Americans for a Safe Israel that placed billboards in 23 cities with a quotation from Genesis ("Unto thy offspring will I give this land") and the message, "Pray that President Bush Honors God's Covenant with Israel. Call the White House with this message." It then provided the White House phone number and the Apostolic Congress's Web address.

9. The second horn of the eastern ram
That means a second Gulf War -- a war greater than the last, led by a second middle eastern firebrand in the same neighborhood of the Euphrates -- and though far more devastating, fated, said Daniel, to a similar end. In light of everything else that has happened in the world during the fateful 20th Century, if this second Gulf War does indeed occur, the Christian world will be on firm notice that the Bible's ultimate moment of prophecy has truly arrived.

Editors Note: The second Gulf War (the war pitting the west against the second horn of the eastern ram in Daniel's prophecy) has now begun. As far as the world is concerned, it began on March 19, 2003 at 4 A.M. Baghdad time. The administration of the U.S. government sees an earlier date: September 11, 2001, with the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq two fronts in a wider Middle-Eastern war. Either way, this conflict has ushered in cataclysmic changes in world history changes now obvious to everyone.

God ordered the Book of Daniel sealed until the days of the End had actually arrived. When that moment is attained, those seals will be broken and a devastating sequence will be launched that will grind like the gears inside the doomsday clock, clicking out in scripture's bitter detail the final events ordained by prophecy for the doomed civilization which the Bible calls "Babylon". This book explains that foretold chronology.
