1. Yeah, I didn't get the memo, either
I dragged my feet for years on the food stamp thing, even though I certainly qualified. To think I could have traded up from a 1990 Ranger that needs a brake job to a brand new Lexus if only I'd applied!

I inherited enough to be solvent for a couple of years, at least, and then the whole process will start again, unless SSD miraculously gets approved.

9. What about now? do you have a job (I hope)
cause not having job/money when you need your meds sounds very scarey.

15. I was on 10 scripts 3 years ago.
I'm on four now, and I take only two of them every day.

I'm still alive, but I can't say I'm particularly enjoying it.

17. Yeah..oddly enough...I work for a pharmaceutical company now.
So getting meds ain't a problem.

But thanks for asking. It is very frightening when you don't know how you are gonna get a supply of meds.

When my last job went to India (outsourcing...grr), I was able to get in on my boyfriend's insurance policy.

It was pricey, but better than the alternative.

2. And if you have enough kids, you will enjoy a lifestyle that would...
...make Donald Trump envious.

Or so they tell me.

6. I like your torties...I almost adopted one last week.
The other half is standing firm that we can have no more kitties until the others are gone.

She was a real sweetie though, that cat. Her name was Nadia and she was 10 years old, but sooooo loving.

14. This news comes at just the right time for me
I'm in need of a new vehicle. I wasn't willing to do it before, I don't care for Cadillacs very much, but now that the new welfare car is a Lexus I'm considering it. :D

16. Damn "Welfare Queens"
We should demand that they "buy American". If they're too damn good for a Town Car or Escalade they should get a job.

sarcasm
