Right-winger is losing it, completely.
I've posted about this right-winger's LiveJournal before, and now, he's really losing it.

First he regurgitates the "Saddam sent his WMD to Syria" crap, and his latest entry, if it isn't naked anti-Catholic bigotry, I don't know what is.

BTW, this is the same right-winger who says only creationists are "true Christians" in a previous entry.

1. Well the Catholic Church says evolution is ok.
And, the fundies will just have to acknowledge the One True Church and abandon that creationist nonesense.

:sarcasm:

6. Catholics changed the rules on infants who die going to purgatory too
The centuries worth of families who have prayed their asses off for the rest of their lives after the tragic death of an infant, say "THANKS A LOT! OH, NOW YA TELL US!"

7. Not purgatory Limbo
purgatory is for those having reach the age of reason and have sins to purge before going to heaven. Limbo was for unbaptized enfants who died before the age of reason.

2. These people should be legally barred from voting
Laws need to change here to say that such sheer stupidity will disqualify you from voting.

I met one dumb kid--typical chickenhawk, full of bluster, fat and full of zits--who said that Saddam paid money to the 9/11 hijackers.

5. Yes Yes Yes!
I was going to post the same earlier today about voting, but then the practical side took over and I couldn't come up with a way to accomplish this. But now I've a solution!

Why not have a loyalty oath (I know, I know) that requires allegiance to the constitution over all else as a requisite to vote. Would certainly put them in a tizzy.

That way, if a fundy is seen at the polls, it would be known to all and to god that they have not put the lord foremost in their lives, which must mean some kind of hell thingy will happen to them.

10. loyalty oath
Bush, Congress and all branches of the military swear to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. What good has that done us for the past five years?

3. What makes this comment assanine is this...
We have satellite monitoring systems that can practically see through the walls of your homes. WMD's are fairly large and if they had a large number of these the caravans would be gigantic. There's no way our intel could miss something like that. So unless the scrub admin is hiding something or were asleep at the switch (which is possible), the WMD's that Iraq supposedly had never existed.

4. I always wondered what
these goofballs think that Saddam was saving them for? If a country is being threatend, I don't think the first thought would be "Hey, quick get rid of our weapons!"

11. I love that theory that Saddam spent a lifetime amassing WMDs
to preserve his reign.
Then when we invaded, when he could really use them....

he sent them to Syria and condemned himself to a life behind bars and probable execution.

JUST...
To embarass GW Buxh.

Please don't feed the Freepers.

14. Freepers lack any common sense.. You'd think the fools
that believed the WMD's lies would have waken up from their sleep two days into the start of the war when Saddam didn't use them against an invading army.... but no... they chose to believe an even bigger lie that he moved them.. Why would, he had moved them? Was he saving them for a rainy day?

12. Sister Perpetual Agony taught me that if I eat meat on Fridays
I will burn in the flames of HELL for eternity. I then heard that they changed that rule...probably due to the collapse of the planets fishery stocks because of catholic over consumption of fish.

What I want to know from the church is what happened to those burning in hell from eating a hot dog on Friday before the rule change? Are they still charco-broiling in the flames of hell, or was the new rule made retroactive? If retroactive I imagine they are now in heaven but everyone will know they were a sinner due to the charcoal texture of their flesh. I wonder if there is any discrimination in heaven for doing time in hell on a meat rap?

19. I was taught that eating meat on Friday was a venial sin
resulting in, if I hadn't had time to repent, additional time in Purgatory, but not eternal damnation. Though, much like you, I've wondered what happened to the poor souls who did time for that sin... Did God pay them some kind of restituion, if they were still in Purgatory when the rule changed did the "ate meat on Friday" time get applied to what they owed for their other sins? This must just be another one of those things my "puny human mind" (as the good Sisters would say) can't grasp.

Though, I'll give the sisters this, we were told (and this is pre Vatican II) that when the Bible said God created the world in 7 days, we must remember that we don't know how long a day is for God. The Bible merely used a time frame our "puny human minds" could grasp. The other thing I recall about the sisters is that they taught us situational ethics without calling it that. My second grade Catechism nun was always especially creative and dramatic when explaining when a sin is not a sin. For example, if you had been in Germany during WWII and you were hiding Jews from the Nazis and the only way you could get enough food to feed the people you were hiding was to steal it, would it be a sin to steal a loaf of bread? (The answer is no, because God would know why you did it and give you a pass.) She even explained under what circumstances it would be permissible to use spit to Baptize someone.
