Don't you have to listen, just to know the enemy, so to speak

13. In the past I might have agreed with you, I used to listen to RW talk
radio mainly because it is being played in a fair number of offices here, so I'd occasionally catch Rush or our local version Jerry Agar on the car radio mainly just to try to have some common ground with my co-workers. But listening to that shit for 2 or 3 hours a day started to fuck with my perceptions, so I gave it up. I still hear a fair amount of it, though, without seeking it out, so I feel like I know the enemy, so to speak, too well. I'm sort of curious what the reaction to the ports deal is, but from the way some of the more die-hard RWers have been avoiding me this week, I'm pretty sure they don't have any talking points that are working for them yet, so I know all I need to know for now...

I've never thought Drudge was that big of a deal, though, ever. Wasn't his claim to fame scooping the Starr report earlier than anyone else?

You're right of course, about him. And also right that their bs sort of oozes into your pores like coal dust. But recognize that they hold sway over much of the people, and never give up he fight.gotta go
