Don't Underestimate the Longshoremen...
Something tells me when push comes to shove on this ports deal, the last bastion of American patriotism will come in the form of Longshoremen on the doorstep of our Democracy.

They teach you about Longshoremen down there in Texas, Shrub ???...I didn't think so.

I have a feeling you're about to go to school.

Oh yeah....and spin on that Karl.

2. We have ports in Texas (we actually have water here)
However Texas is a so called "Right to Work" state. I have faith in Longshoremen, having spent many years on the waterfront. They have never been very big on taking shit from anybody. Could they be the spark that ignites the tinderbox?

3. Hope so.......actually, I think it would have more impact in a Texas
port....However, I half expect NY and NJ to be the first to walk off the job...seeing as some may have actually known people who perished in the Towers......
