Bring them home....

US soldiers from Able Company 1-506 Infantry 101st Airborne Division kick down a door in order to search through a house as part of operation "Band of Brothers," launched in the restive city of Ramadi, west of Baghdad.(AFP/David Furst)

1. This is how Rove manipulates google searches. He's pulled that tactic on
other issues and other phrases that he needs to keep downplayed.

2. That's a disgusting misuse of that phrase
Whether we're talking "Henry V" or WWII...

3. Just in case, amid all the rest of the violence,
the Iraqi people forgot that they were an occupied nation with a foreign army beating down their doors and killing them without hesitation, we bring you Operation Band of Brothers.

I am so ashamed for what we have done.

6. "Band of Brothers", the special, was a hit and it resonated well

with a good many people - the whole greatest generation - fighting against a world threat (blah blah blah) message, so it conjures up patriotic images of country, flag and unity....

so it's manipulation by word/phrase association. You hear "band of brothers" and you think ww2, greatest generation, unity, country, flag, victory....

unless you're one of the few who read the fine print, that is...

8. I don't know what the future holds but I do believe this
You're raising a son that can also read the fine print - and if there is to be any kind of real future, the more sons and daughters able to read the fine print, the better.
