Who wants a free Gore MLK day Speech DVD?

I posted this in the Activist forum with little response, so I thought I'd try it here in GD...

I have authored a deluxe DVD of Al Gore's MLK day speech about our Constitutional Crisis. It turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself: fancy menus, chapters for particular soundbites, bonus features, activist info, even an Easter Egg!

What I'd like to do is get these DVD's in the hands of people who can make copies and distribute them to others, and raise the consciousness of our citizenry.

I'll mail a DVD, free of charge, to the first five people who PM me and agree to burn and distribute five copies each of this DVD.

In addition to a DVD burner, it would be great if you also had a scanner to make copies of the provocative cover. I could also email you the cover image, and, if you have an Epson printer capable of printing on CDs/DVDs, the label image.

After the first 5 DVD's are distributed, I may have a few more DVD's left that I can share with other DU'ers without burners.

I would LOVE to get and burn copies, but am hesitant to give my mailing addy indiscrimantly (and you can understand why). There are some folks I know enough of to feel comfy giving the info ;) Give me a shout or post if you find an online link to site we could burn CDs from

Right now, such an item might hit home with a lot of folks where I am... yep, things have changed here THAT much!

And it was the one day of the week I was comitted elsewhere. boohoo... I wanted to meet him & Jag! He played well with the locals from what I heard. Ya gotta know he's amazing if he can get any positive reaction around here :D

If you've been contacted by me, you're getting one. If you haven't heard from me yet, perhaps you can get a copy from one of the others, who all have agreed to burn and distribute copies.
If those folks could post here, then their copies will find homes quickly.

As far as being OK w/Mr. Gore, well I haven't asked, unless he's copyrighted the speech ala MLK's "I have a dream" speech, there shouldn't be a problem...even then, I'm sure the Bostonians didn't ask permission to throw the tea in the harbor...the rest of the stuff on the DVD is public domain/collective commons...

I can burn and mail a copy or two - after I get the original from fiendish of course.

I don't have a printer that will print on the disc but will try to make a presentable case label.
