Southeast of Baghdad, both Sunnis and Shiites joined to protest the bombing and reprisal attacks Thursday in the town of Kut, police said. Thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets saying that they are "all Iraqis."

I am amazed no one on DU is commenting on this...not that I am optimistic about Iraq, but I hope DU is not so cynical as to turn a blind-eye to any ray of hope in Iraq just because it goes against what is politically expedient for the left.
