The meme re: ports. BUSH's PORTS PLAN is WEAK ON SECURITY
WE have to frame this correctly.

BUSH IS ON THE DEFENSIVE. Keep up the heat.

And no easy cop-out....just backing off the deal is not the victory we should aim for. It should be nationalizing the ports.

This is a wedge issue for the Republicans. A lot of Republicans will support it, the leadership will fight it tooth and nail.

That means it hurts the Republicans.

The DLC will tell us not to fight this battle for obvious reasons.

It's not the Dubai Ports deal.

This is a huge problem too, and we're going to clean BUSH's CLOCK over it.
