US Military Outsources Command Structure
(UPS Exclusive)

In a surprise announcement today, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld said that Halliburton Corporation has been awarded a no-bid contract to provide personnel for all top leadership positions in the US Military. General and Admiral-level officer slots will be filled by contract employees by mid-June 2006, with field-grade positions down to the rank of Colonel (Army, Air Force and Marines) and Captain (Navy) to follow suit by early next year.

Halliburton executives, speaking under conditions of anonymity, say they expect to fill most slots with ex-military officers from India, Pakistan and Turkmenistan.

5. But we ARE about to allow the UAE to do port security
for our largest ports! That was the direct inspiration for the foreign officers story.

6. Yes, and it was a good joke. Sad times, though, when one has
to think twice whether something is a joke or not*sigh*
