6. Wonderful To See You Again, Old Friend!
And yes, the reptile was drunk.

The phrase "I had one beer with lunch" is traditionally regarded by police as a confession to drunk driving, and the report that he "had a cocktail after the shooting" is also a common manouver of those who are laying groundwork to deny a charge of drunkeness, by claiming "Well, of course I show high blood alchohol now, but I wasn't drunk then...."

7. Yes--not above the legal limit--but a WebMD article...
says that a person taking meds -- may feel more of the effects of alcohol.

I am not a Doctor.

WebMD seems to say that alcohol -- and other factors (such as medications) can affect abilities, and that the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) test is not an accurate -- scientific measurement of abilities.

I would assume that that applies to hunting abilities-- in addition to driving.

-----------------------------

WebMD
Self-Test for Breath Alcohol
Test Overview

http://www.webmd.com/hw/lab_tests/aa81725.asp

Other medications or drugs. A person who drinks alcohol and takes certain medications, such as antihistamines or sedatives (tranquilizers), may feel more of the effects of alcohol. Also, a person who uses other drugs, such as marijuana, will feel the effects of both drugs more than if the drugs were used separately.

The breath alcohol self-test can be done to estimate your blood alcohol concentration (BAC). The results can be used to determine whether it is safe for you to drive. However, the estimate of blood alcohol is not intended to represent your actual driving abilities. Your driving may be impaired even with a low BAC level, such as below 0.05 mmol/L.

8. not to mention the old fat fuck was out walking around
or at least getting in and out of vehicles all afternoon, probably just being awake all day was taxing on his damn black heart - I don't have any doubt alcohol was a part, but even so, it's the arrogance and total lack of respect for the citizens that employ this unaccountable jerk - that is what really pisses me off!

That bastard was drink or at least booze plus heart pills. Who is going to tell that surly asshole that perhaps he shouldn't be shooting? This story won't die because they obviously covered something up but what?

15. Perhaps not above the legal limit....
But one can not tell what can occur when mixed with prescription drugs.

Everyone's metabolism is different, but with most drugs there are warning of contraindications when mixed with alcohol.

I believe it was the mixture of the two rather than total alcohol consumption... But still an irresponsible act for one who is SUPPOSED to be responsible.
