THIS is why all the Cheney shooting stink.
I have to assume this is at least SIMILAR to Michigan, but I can't be sure and on "work place dialup" that kind of Google Research is a toughie.

In Michigan, failure to IMMEDIATELY report ANY gunshot incident, hunting, cleaning or otherwise, that results in an injury to a second person is a CLASS B MISDEMEANOR, with jail time as an option, and police record and booking at the very least.

I seem to remember something in the constitution: Impeachment, and "...high crimes and misdemeanors..."?

You don't get much more flagrant in violating the law than that.

1. Yup...this stinks
to high heaven. And what about a 3rd hunter, that they've supposedly been squashing. I read on another thread that Cheney may have shot another person??

2. That is what is so incredibly
bizarre about their entire story. No one called the police? Or did they bully the police into waiting until the next day?

3. I agree
We cannot let this just slide under the rug like all their other crimes! I am sick of them getting away with this crap. He should resign over this and save the country the embarrassment of having to arrest him.

6. NO timeline is acceptable....
...because of the ambulance being present. They have the communication (and by law, must use it) to contact the police/sherrif/etcetera.

Plus, the SS was there, nes ne pas?
