4. In the Clint Eastwood movie "Absolute Power" the moral question
came up for the Secret Service protecting the President. I believe one of the agents was completely committed to protecting the President from having the details of his crime emerge, to the point of attempting to murder the witness to his crime. I assume that the same law applies to them as to anyone else, prohibiting them from acting as an accessory after the fact and preventing them from assisting with a cover-up in any way.

6. hmmm, true...but I was asking more of a hypothetical question.
we know that Chimp and company would never let law abiding citizens work for them.

8. The SS men watched Jenna and Barbara illegally drink
They are there to protect their "client" and apparently have no duty to the law.

13. Apparently - it depends on if it's a Republican or Democrat
Consider for example that SS personel were forced to testify about Clinton:

I don't have to tell you, there is no way SS agents will ever be asked to testify about Bush & Cheney's actions.
