Isn't a police report required in all shootings?
Who filed it and when? Is it a matter of public record?

4. CNN originally said the shooting will be investigated
by the local sheriff's office. A report must have been filed in order to do the investigation.

6. i was wondering about that also
no mention of a report in any of the articles, and no comment from local police/sheriffs, either. lots of mis-info in the original reports as well. originally reported that whittington was taken by ambulance, now it says transported by helicopter.

tomorrow morning, scotty will announce that the shooting was the result of bad intel.

9. I am really interested in the twenty-four hour delay.
Twenty some years later, they still whine about Teddy Kennedy and his eight hour delay in reporting his accident. Why did Cheney need twenty-four hours? sobering up? getting story straight?

11. They had to make sure that a cover story was not needed
Once they were sure, then the story was released.

14. And why did they wait 3 hours before they took the guy to the hospital?
I'm guessing that Cheney hadn't finished hunting yet.
