Laura tells Hillary her criticisms are "out of bounds"

Ha Ha Ha

It'd be funny, if it were.

"First lady calls Clinton's criticism 'out of bounds'

Saturday, February 11, 2006; Posted: 4:40 p.m. EST (21:40 GMT)

TURIN, Italy (AP) -- Laura Bush said Saturday that Hillary Rodham Clinton's criticism of her husband's administration was "out of bounds," arguing that the former first lady should show some empathy for the current White House occupants.

Leading the U.S. delegation at the Winter Olympics in Turin, the first lady talked about a range of subjects, from the violent protests across the Muslim world over caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed to the quality of the U.S. Olympic team. She was interviewed by ABC and CBS..."

2. Interesting choice of words.
"Out of bounds" in my lexicon means off limits. Typical repug rhetoric where nobody is allowed to second guess king george.

3. Laura, where the hell you been?
Your husband, father in law, and the rest of the right win cabal began running an incessant slander machine against the Clinton's the minute Bill took office. Don't you remember, Laura?

5. where was all this empathy when Hillary was under attack?
She was quite the "villain" during the 1990s, from what I remember. Wasn't much empathy for her when she was trying to mend a broken marriage, either.

The Repubs are trying to eliminate the growing opposition by promising to be kind if shown kindness in return. It's a pathetic, empty promise of a desperate bunch of clowns.

Look, Bill Clinton let me down as a progressive and personally can't stand Hillary. But, like it or lump it, she's the biggest gun on the Hill and she has the right to say whatever she damn well feels like about the Boy King. Pickles, OTOH, has achieved what? Running over her boyfriend? Raising two drunks? Putting a pharmacist's kids through college because your husband is an idiot? Here are my three main points as to why Pickles should sit down and shut the hell up about Hillary Clinton.

1) How sympathetic were the Republicans to the Clintons? Say what you will about the Clintons running from the left, but they had other problems. Namely, Bill and Hillary had to worry and fend of neo-con panty raiding thugs from peeking in their bedroom, their bank account and probably Chelsea's diary. Its surprising they got anything done in 8 years.

2)How is he talking out of school? Bush is a corrupt idiot and an outright murderer. Hillary, even it is for selfish reasons, is calling a spade a spade. The republicans complained that Bill Clinton was getting some good nookie from a big butt girl. Yeah, that's gonna destroy the nation. In six years, Bush has:

*sunk us into a reccession
*started two illegal wars
*Made torture America's #1 domestic product.
*Let Oil men right our energy policy.
*Has made us a permanent debtor to China.
*spied on everyone from Vegans to Quakers in the name of fighting terrorist,
*lost Osama bin Laden more than Wile E. Coyote lost the Road Runner
*Let the New York financial district get blown up,
*watch a historical city and important coastal port sink because he was too stupid to do anything.

3) At least she has something to say. I don't personal like Hillary-- she's too much a calculating, corporate owned careerist for me. She makes her husband look like the Buddha. But when was the last time you heard Laura Bush say ANYTHING worth remembering? Other than being so much of an ass that she forgot the name of the damn hurricane where people were drowning. Hillary is a brilliant lawyer, an experience political strategist and a powerful Senator from the opposition party. And on top of that, the Boy Prince has bungled, botched, stole and destroyed everything in the 6 years. Why WOULDN'T Hillary say anything, you snobbish pill popping crone!!! Its her damn job!!! I see why Dubya married Pickles, the Coke Monkey found someone whose equally as stupid.

From what I see, Laura Bush is a horrible parody of NeoCon stepford wife -- a clueless pedigreed snob with a blank smile and an empty head whose only good for housework and screwing herr pasty, dough republican husband after vice squad rolls through DC.

Hillary, for good or for ill, is seen as woman in her own right. Pickles could be replaced with a cardboard cutout and we wouldn't know the difference.

8. I wonder how much empathy Stepford had for that guy she ran down
This woman has a lot of audacity telling off Hil. Hil is not my favorite person in the world, but she certain has earned the right to tell the truth in public. The truth should never be "out of bounds." I guess when you are mixed up with the scum of the earth, you lose track of what should be out of bounds. Like deliberately assaulting NOLA with depraved indifference.

10. I bet that explains it, she lost track (if she ever had it) of what is
out of bounds, what is right or wrong.

I wish we had a raspberry "smilie" for Laura!

:-p~~

9. It's "compassionate conservativism". Not "compassion for conservatives"
When Bush's actions show compassion for Americans, then the 65% of the Americans who don't like him right now WILL show compassion in return.

Symbiosis.

11. She's saying this in ITALY fer chrissakes, and...
just who the hell does she think is listening?

Hillary is now officially a politician, having been elected to something, and the Italians get vast amounts of enjoyment out of their politicians' antics. I can imagine what they think of this little tirade.
