Go Monkey Man Go! :applause:

(I know Monkey Man - he's great and so is the Mrs....we can count on people like him to make sure the truth is broadcast when the fascists go full tilt and we can't use the internet and the MSM shuts down completely from telling the truth)....If any of you live in the Bay Area or even stream on the internet, they are actually a really good station!) Man Putting Howard Stern On FM Radio Talks To NBC11
Founder Of Pirate Cat Radio Explains His Decision

SAN FRANCISCO -- It is not every day radio DJ's mask their identity for a TV interview.

But then, Pirate Cat Radio isn't what you'd call your typical radio station.

"Some people would say we are a legal radio station. Some people would say 'No, they're illegal and they need to get off the air.' It all depends on how you look at it," says the founder of Pirate Cat Radio.

The way the FCC might view it the unlicensed radio station broadcasting from a Mission District theater is flat-out illegal.

But to the station founder, who would prefer the FCC only know him as "Monkey Man," illegal is just a word.

"One of the things that Pirate Cat Radio is here for is not only to let people come in and play music they want on the air, but also to say what they want on the air," says Monkey Man.

As NBC11 first reported Thursday, Pirate Cat Radio is doing exactly what it wants.

Two weeks ago, it began illegally broadcasting Howard Stern's morning satellite radio show, unedited and raw, on FM frequency 87.9 in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

"That's what Howard Stern's been fighting for, is to fight for people to let people do what they want on the radio, whether you like it or not. So that's something we do here at Pirate Cat Radio."

Since NBC11's story ran Thursday, Pirate Cat's free Stern broadcasts have gotten national attention.

On Friday, Stern's satellite news channel ran its own story on Pirate Cat.

Monkey Man does not apologize for his radio rebellion.

Although, he says he will stop the illegal broadcasts if Stern personally asks him to.

As to whether he's concerned about the FCC suddenly taking notice, Monkey Man says, "I'm really not concerned about them at all. They can come and talk if they like. I'll fix a pot of coffee and have my wife make them some cookies."

1. Only problem I see with it is that Sirius is a pay service...
...and this dude is giving it away for free. However, I'm currently listening to Howard on my computer (a downloaded episode), so who am I to judge? LoL Although, I am a paying subscriber as well... I just like to listen to it when I want. So, carry on, Monkey Man. :)

2. I think that the existence of "pirate radio" is actually very important to
our ability to communicate and get info out, especially if we have any further "blackouts" of the news and truth from our government and the so-called MSM.

I know that if Monkey Man is asked by Howard Stern, he will stop. But in the meantime, I think that "rebels" like Monkey Man who push the envelope are heroes in the battle against fascism.
