Poll question: Now that Cindy Sheehan won't run, how do you feel about DiFi?
Filing deadline for US Senate in California is the 14th, if I remember correctly. What's your opinion about Dianne Feinstein seeking another term, especially concerning a possible challenger in the Democratic primary now that Cindy Sheehan has declined to run?

1. Wouldn't break my heart, competition is always good
it keeps one on thier toes and adapting.

6. I do not want Di Fi weakened.
But, like a little friendly competition to persuade Di Fi to act more like Barbara Boxer. I would have glady encouraged and voted for CIndy Sheenan. Just wanted it to stay a freindly challenge and remind DiFi she has let us down too many times.

2. I don't think Cindy should run because I do NOT think she is qualified
however, I have no problem with someone challenging Feinstein in the primaries. I wish it would happen, but I doubt it will

3. she's every bit as qualified as the professional political parasite
Feinstein. Corrupt, venal elitists like Feinstein are the last sorts of people who should be involved in politics.

5. so we disagree, that does NOT mean I don't want to see Feinstein
challenged, and defeated by a liberal

4. In a grocery list of issues, many DUers may prefer Senator Boxer.
I'm one of those DUers.

But what makes Senator Boxer so dazzling is that there's essentially only one of her.

Senator Feinstein -- if I ran the universe -- would be more aggressively progressive. That isn't to say that I am not grateful for her unswervering support of many social issues that I hold dear, and that my party holds dear.

So if I would prefer Boxer over Feinstein in one comparison, I would equally prefer Feinstein over some paleolithic moron like Jeff Sessions in another.

The list of senators I like less than Dianne Feinstein is pretty long, and most of them are Republicans, not surprisingly.
