Jimmy Carter for President!
I heard on NPR how he put a rocket up bushyboy's shorts at Coretta Scott King's funeral.

Now there goes a man.

Too bad no other prominent Democrats have his courage.

1. Carter remains an inspiration
and his tough speech was a highlight of the '04 convention. I'm glad he spoke out today. Can you imagine how the state of our country must be tearing him apart inside?

2. Carter was probably the best man to hold the office
in a long, long time.

4. once you've been President, can you run again non-concurrently?
Just curious--no idea what provisions there are in term limits for this...

8. Sure you can.
The 22nd Amendment just says you can't be elected more than twice.

Carter could run again and I almost wish he would. He is a great, great man and a victim of scurrilous right-wing traitors who did secret business with Ayatollah Khomeni.

11. Well he did say that he has been a more successful former President
Than he was a President.

Hey, I regret my vote for Anderson. I was pissed because Carter set up the registration process for a new draft (sucks), after having pardoned all the draft dodgers (wonderful). Cost me scholarships not to register. Made him look like a hypocrit. Little did I know what we were losing.

15. He is in great health. He could definitely make it through a four
year term. And even if he had to step down, he could pass it off to a good vice president.
