My grandmother on my mom's side told me over Christmas that Jimmy was her favorite. She and my grandfather (before he died last year) were very active in church and they both hated Bush and voted for Kerry. My grandfather loved FDR. Whenever he spoke of FDR and his memories of him he had this sparkle in his eye. *Sigh* :(

How many people were in the church? I heard it was thousands. That they gave Teddy the standing ovation he richly deserves showed the world that liberals still exist and are respected in the US. And I truly think that each person that was there to honor Mrs. King represented hundreds, if not thousands, of folks around the country who will vote for peace and justice and Democrats this November.

who said unemployment was way high when Carter was prez. So his opinion on any subject doesn't matter.

One of the posters there asked him for a link to prove that unemployment was high under Carter and the idiot said he didn't need to post one since he was unemployed during the entire Carter tenure.

Then another poster chimed in that Carter wasn't able to get the hostages in Iran released.

Now what any of this has to do with whether or not Carter can call bush a lawbreaker is way beyond my comprehension.
