2. Fine, but you know, BushCo is parsing the definition of wiretap.

"Wiretaps" is a fine way to communicate to Joe Public who is familiar with the idea from the movies. But BushCO claims it doesn't wiretap, that takes a guy with wires somehow attached to your phone line. BushCo simply is given the data by the tele-coms.

it? Feingold and the rest included no? Weeks ago I know it was brought up in a press breifing and I've heard it many times since. I'm pretty sure Russ knows about this by now.

I do agree that it is one hell of a damning quote though. There were even others too, and gonzales even had a worse one at his confirmation hearings.
