It's like a push-button
All you have to do is say "Hillary", and the temperature rises -- fast.

2. You have to notice a pattern of some of these posters.
It doesn't smell very good. They know who they are.

10. So not being a fan of Hilary Clinton means what, exactly?
I'm not a fan of Hilary Clinton and I can't understand how that many people around here can be.

16. i have no political "Fans"
but there are candidates that i can at least listen to and make a informed decision. Fans are only for sports and ridicules TV shows.

17. Thank you for clarifying that
I apologize for using terminology that obviously confused you - I thought my meaning was clear enough, but I guess I was mistaken. I'm sorry.

What I meant to say is that I dislike Hilary Clinton as our presidential nominee for reasons I've noted elsewhere.

18. Cool
because anytime i see "Fan" it reminds me that so much of this is a popularity contest. And did you really think i was confused? I am actually Coockoo for Cocoa Puffs

6. The point should be obvious,
Lets pile on Hillary because of an article in Newsday?

7. DU is about piling about everybody.
Why not Hillary? Please, this article has generated less than 20 posts across the two threads.

Gee, I wished that people would be as moderate for anybody else. Your complaint seems a little bit exaggerated.

9. If you consider this over the top Hillary bashing, you have quite
an election season in store. This is absolutely nothing, not even a blip on the screen. Every Dem candidate will get pilloried in a viciously grotesque way a thousand times between now and the convention in '08. Relax, have a cup of tea...

12. I don't really consider it over the top, and I am relaxed.
Some DUers on the other hand bick up on a right wing talking point
and run with it.

13. Almost any critical statement of a Dem candidate can be
construed as a RW talking point. Everyone, here at DU, has a candidate they prefer over others. Now that the primary contests appear to be starting, the criticisms of various candidates will become stronger and more pointed. This is going to become exponentially worse as '08 approaches. All I can say is pace yourself. :hi:

15. 2 posters equals what? >1% when compared to the folks who fawn
over every word uttered by Rupert Murdoch's favorite Democratic Senator?
