Everybody is scared spitless
After years of rock-solid party discipline and fealty to President Bush, Congressional Republicans have suddenly fractured in their new role as members of the minority, with some prominently deserting the White House on Iraq and others bolting from their leadership on popular domestic issues.

<snip>

And leaving Republican leaders confronting the reality that nervous party members, uncertain of Mr. Bush’s handling of the war and their own party’s legislative appeal, are no longer so tightly bound to the cause.

“Everybody is scared spitless,” Mr. Thune, the South Dakota senator, said.

1. der fuhrer has absolute control - will he burn the reichstag next?
the houses of congress up in flames as his disloyal american military rounds up the congress and puts it in a death camp?

dick goering and rush goebbels will turn their enemies lists into death orders.

and focus on the family will be recruited to run the camps.

don't laugh, it is NOT that big of a reach.

4. No pity, no forgiveness
They followed this drunken psychotic without question until it brought them down. Their hair tearing now is an insult to the American people.
