"I spoke the truth to power,'' she said. "Condi Rice is in the room when George Bush decides to send 20,000 more of our beautiful men and women into the middle of a civil war.

"And I'm not going to apologize for making an extremely clear point,'' she said.

14. Replugs way of supporting the troops rather than being prepared to fund the estimated $300B-
$700B life-time cost for medical, rehabilitation, and disability pay to those wounded as a result of the decider's pre-emptive war.

7. Notice ...

Notice that Bush only likes to pose with soldiers who are still in one piece. We don't see big "Mission Accomplished" banners over the heads of soldiers with missing arms, legs, finger noses, ears. He does not pose with soldiers with disfigured faces, prostetic limbs and missing reproductive organs. Perhaps he should to put things into perspective.

The stark graphics are NECESSARY. Make the People SEE what they are doing to our troops. These guys NEVER volunteered for this.

10.  This is what is so horribly wrong with any war
Let alone an illegal one . We fight for stem cell research and all other medical advances and yet we force men and women in perfect health onto a battle-field and reduce them to this . Makes no sense to me and never will .

11. These pictures need to be taped to george's bathroom mirror!
When he shaves his monkey face in the morning, he'll have to see what he has done! I hate him!

19. Put them on billboards.
I wish I could put these photos on billboards across the nation, so that every commuter would have to look at them every day to and from work.

Maybe we should send them to Lindsey Graham and ask him if Bush's legacy is worth this.

Child Victims of Violence

Here is the text and photos I just received from a doctor friend in Baghdad:

"This is 20 month-old Iraqi baby girl, who was severely injured and mutilated, in a blast by a car bomb in Al-Sadr City 21 days ago,she lost her two eyes.

"Her name is Shams-means sun in Arabic-... well not anymore, her mother was killed during the accident. Shams lies now in a surgical specialty hospital in Baghdad, and as we live in these terrible conditions in Baghdad she has not much chance to get any proper medical care...

13. Emphatic K&R
And good for Boxer for standing up for what she said, and not backing down from all the whiny, simpering criticism.

16. More of this reality needs to be seen by more "ordinary" citizens!
Another thing I'd like to do...

Since some Catholics seem to think it's just fine to send pictures of abortions to their members, I think it only right that pictures of dead, dying and injured Iraqi children be sent to the same Catholics.

It's only right.

17. Each of those pictures should be enlarged and applied as wallpaper to George and Laura's
bedroom wall, so they are the last thing they see before they go to sleep and the first thing they see when they wake up...and I bet the war will suddenly come to and end or he'll be carried out in a straight jacket. (However even that probably wouldn't make a dent in his icy heart which is made of solid stone.)
