No salutation or ending on Bush speech. Usually the President say "My fellow Americans" or Ladies
and Gentlemen" - or something. And at the end of a speech some type of closing - like "God Bless America," No big deal, but I just thought it sounded sort of abrut and rude.

5. Washington? Jefferson? Franklin?
It took me a few seconds to figure this out. Maybe it's this head cold.

4. Probably it was pre-recorded and they didn't have time to edit on
an opening or a closing. It took so many takes to just get him to say the words and scotch tape them together that they ran out of time.
