the consequences of bush having been given the oval office by the supreme court
are really waaaay beyond the scope of what anyone could have imagined, i think.

but there are still those for whom keeping bush in the oval office is more important than saving the planet, stoping the war, funding health care or social security, procuring affordable medicines for countless people in need of them ... these are likes of andrea greenspan mitchell who called nancy d'alessandro pelos, "imperial"; chris matthews who still sees the chimp as being free from the sin of power grab and ill intentions; the electronic and print media silent on the iraq occupation, national healthcare and our eroding rights and freedoms as the bush evil family wants to take away from us.

1. Andrea Mitchell has a lot of nerve
If anyone comes across as "imperial", it is she.

These two, along with Blitzer and others, are invested in saving/advancing themselves. They are part of the "club", the "inner circle". They are paid to uphold the official White House storylines. That is why I do NOT pay attention to what they have to say, preferring to listen to Air America and read the Internet(s).

As regards the ability to imagine what Bush would do, I knew it in 2000 and tried in vain to convince others that he would make this country unrecognizable. One only needs to know the Bush family story to imagine it, coupled with the PNAC document.

3. If a rightwinger lies in a broadcast and no one hears them, do they make a sound?

4. Good one
and the smaller their audiences are, the less sound they make.

I forgot to add that I also watch Keith Olbermann, but that is it for me and MSNBC.

6. you are right ... and i think many of us really tried to stop bush in 2000 ...
the press had something else in mind and they, their lies and distortions on al gore, along with poppy's henchmen and a supreme court which went in opposition direction to the law, helped put the bastard in the oval office.

(it seems a lot of people are beginning to regret having done son, but maybe not enough, and maybe for those who are regretting having put him in office, they have regretted it not soon enough.

2. Just like Gerry Ford...the Supremes wanted to "keep Peace in America"
by giving the 2000 Election to the Bush Dynasty.

It's all pre-arranged and the "Pomp and Ceremony" and the MS Corporate Media uphold this MEME BELIEF that the "orderly progression of government" is more important that Corruption, Lies, and Obstruction of Justice....unless one is a "Democrat" that is. :eyes:
