OKAY Leftie DEMS! We NOW have a Powerful FORUM! US House!
Where do we do from here? Can we take back our Country or rest on getting Dems into House and a "toss up" in the Senate.

Do we "Make Nice" and "WAIT?" Or, do we keep "Feet to Fire" like Cindy Sheehan is doing? and like McKinney (who was trashed and is gone) tried so hard to do...against all odds.

I thought Pelosi's Speech was really one of the BEST! And Kudo's to HER...I really believe she gets it. BUT...I'm not so sure about Reid since he was second hand man to Tom Daschle that many of us feel sold us down the Swamp to Bushie when we still had Senate Majority by approving ALL BUSHIES APPOINTMENTS!

Anyway....we could "lie low" and wait to see what they do...or KEEP AT IT! Which is it? Tired of being "polite" here. :-(

3. IMO Dems captured both houses only because main stream voters liked
campaign promises that were in the middle of the political spectrum.

Any candidate that proposes far left bills will probably find the bills lost in committee.

What specific proposals do you have in mind that will help Dems retain control of congress in 2008?

5. And your evidence for those assertions is?
"main stream voters liked campaign promises that were in the middle of the political spectrum" - do you have any evidence for that statement?

And while you are there: "far left bills" please give an example of what you consider a far left bill.

6. My post was to KoKo01, You've been a DU member for over two years
so I assume you know we Dems took control of the Senate and House back from the Repugs.

I'll let KoKo01 tell us both what bills she/he supports.

Have a nice day. :hi:

4. Give them a chance to see what they will do.
Constantly harping on people to motivate them, usually has the opposite effect.
