Are you OUTRAGED?
Are you OUTRAGED that this president has the audacity to call for more troops in Iraq?

Are you OUTRAGED that this president disdains the wishes of the military commanders in Iraq who say that more troops is not the answer?

Are you OUTRAGED that this president says that he wants to work with the Democrats, then tells the Democrats that he wants everything his way?

Are you OUTRAGED that the Bush twins are partying around the globe, while young American soldiers are dying every day in Iraq?

Are you OUTRAGED that Bin Laden is still at large?

Are you OUTRAGED that Bush's actions around the world have made America more vulnerable to terrorist attack than before he took office?

2. Yes. Except....
the third one. I can't call it outrage. It's more like when my daughter has a tantrum and demands her way. What she wants and what is actually going to happen are two different things altogether.

Get over it *. Things are different now.

3. Not Really
No point in being OUTRAGED, mainly because once again the hopes of the people rest in the hands of politicians, the major difference is that instead of an R they have a D after their names.

I'll wait and see how the "100 Hour Agenda" goes first and then see what they've accomplished in the
next 6 months. If there is no sign that this fiasco in Iraq is ever going to end then I'll make sure that come the next election cycle my support and my vote will go to new blood. But, Iraq isn't the only issue, there are others which are just as important.

I'm willing to wait and see whether this "new" Congress is really new, or just the old one, this time being controlled by the Democrats!!!!

7. Today I'm more hopeful than outraged - savor the moment.
The first three are givens - classic Smirk - why get worked up about it? American soldiers dying, along with innocent Iraqis, is a constant source of outrage and sadness. Bin Laden is dead, IMO. And for the last one, I fall under the tin-foil camp re nine-eleven so I'm not sure how more vulnerable we truly are (from outside terra-ists, that is).

10. Nope, not outraged.
1,2, and 3: The president is just a hard-headed drunk. I expect this. I hope we can do something about it. But don't expect him to listen. Ever.

4. No, I don't give a shit what the twins do. I feel for the Secret Service babysitters.

5. No, the show will go on, with or without Bin Laden. Don't need another botched hanging on YouTube. I might feel a little satisfaction if he croaks, but it won't change anything.

6. No. We are vulnerable. We were before, and we will be for a long time. If we want to be completely safe, we would have to blow away amendments 1, 4, 5, maybe others. Not a good trade. GWB didn't make us vulnerable, and he can't make us completely safe (nor can Edwards, Gore, or anyone else).
