The Brilliant 20 of 2006
Wonderful year end list. Not sure I agree with every choice...but a fun, interesting perspective.

2. Aside from the few silly entries, a damn fine list
What a nice surprise to see Sam Seder on the list. Even better picks than I would have chosen.

3. It's a very good list.
I would tweak it a bit, like everyone would, I suppose. But it's a great starting point for discussion.

4. This is interesting!
"14. Ned Lamont. I had to think long and hard about whether Ned Lamont belongs on this list -- not because he lost the November election, but because he made the fatal mistake of listening to the Washington consultants that Hillary Clinton sent to Connecticut and became just the kind of careful, finger-in-the-wind politician that we've grown to loathe."

I guess we can chalk up another bungled campaign, embarrassing loss, and mystery of why anyone would listen to anything any rotten DLC campaign handler has to say.

I sincerely hope our 2008 candidate has been paying very close attention.
