Al Lewis, a longtime political activist best known for his television role as Grandpa Munster on "The Munsters" sitcom, died on Feb. 3 after years of failing health. He was 95.

Just looking back on the celebrities who've gone on this year, and this one popped up and I laughed out loud, just like I always did at his performances.

The great Don Knotts is another one. I respect people who make me laugh out loud.

1. I liked Dennis Weaver

Even got to meet him at an environmental conference. He was very concerned about the environment and lived in a house that was constructed in part of recycled materials. He was also a member of the Self Realization Fellowship-an international nonprofit society founded by Paramahansa Yogananda, who said "We are all part of the One Spirit. When you experience the true meaning of religion, which is to know God, you will realize that He is your Self, and that He exists equally and impartially in all beings."
