The New Hate Speech!
As some Americans' holiday season draws nigh, secular humanists, Christians, and non-Christian believers should all reflect on what will make this season different from any before it. Depending on context, wishing someone "Merry Christmas!" can now function as hate speech. In Religious Right Wonderland, you don't wish "Merry Christmas" any more; you wield it.

1. The right nut evangelicals
are getting on everyone's nerves including God. These people are out of control and need to be leashed. Enough. It's time that this country stop taking them seriously and send them back to thier backwood churches and let them do thier crazy talk to snakes. It's time to put them in thier place.

2. Thank you!
Somebody else has written what I've been saying.

"Merry Christmas" is no longer a pleasant greeting. It's become an insult wielded by bug up the ass Christians who hope there is an atheist or Jew or Muslim or agnostic or Buddhist around they can offend by it.

Those people really are hateful and they're ruining what is left of the holiday.

3. Here is something many doesn't know because the story was too minor.
The World Court concluded that Christmas as a federal holiday in America is unconstitutional in our country. Of course they are always ignored.

4. It reminds me of when the congressmen/women stood on the capitol steps and screamed "UNDER GOD"
after saying the pledge in front of the press.

Just to let us know that they weren't going to change the Pledge of Allegiance.

5. Idiots! They acted like giant, retarded children. Deeply repulsive.
Here's a photo commemorating the occasion.

I can remember feeling like I didn't belong here.

And lo, a militant atheist was born that day...*cue choir, harps and backlighting*
