Family Says Soldier Likely Committed Suicide In Iraq
Army Spc. Michael Crutchfield Died Saturday

STOCKTON, Calif.
-- A Stockton solider has died while serving in Iraq.

The Department of Defense confirmed Thursday that 21-year-old Army Spc. Michael Crutchfield died Saturday from a non-combat injury.

Loved ones told KCRA 3 Thursday night that Crutchfield likely committed suicide.

His foster brother and best friend Johnny Sotello received a suicide note in his e-mail from Crutchfield that said he believed his life was no longer worth living and he wanted to end his pain.

Crutchfield grew up in the foster care system in Stockton.

More tragedy, more pain, just so some AWOL rich boy can get his war on.
