I am a Clark supporter but I think Edwards is going to win
I know a lot of people hate these kinds of threads, this early but I was thinking about this today and realized it was Edwards to lose. Hillary's campaign will collapse for fear she can't win and Edwards is already way ahead in Iowa. If Edwards wins Iowa, he will be very hard to beat.

I just hope he picks Clark as his VP.

1. No Hillary will win.
I'm a Clark supporter, too.

2. The main reason I don't think Hillary will win, is because I don't even
know any Democrats who like her. I have never met anyone who seemed to warm up to her. I think her lead in the polls is name recognition and in places like Iowa who are already thinking things through, she does very poorly.

8. There's a lot of us
who don't like her in New York. So many people that I talk to are seeing through her, "never meant a stance I like" mentality.

Strangling with the Triangulating.

9. She'll win because,
the media loves her. Poll after poll will show that she's the only one capable of beating McCain, or Guiliani. The Democrats that vote in the primaries will hold their noses and vote for a "sure winner".

Then the Repukes will NOY nominate either McCain or Guiliani, both of whom they consider no better than a moderate Democrat. I can't guess, at this time, who they will nominate, but it will throw all the previous calculations out of whack.

Can the Democratic niminee, Hillary, still win? I don't know. It's a distinct possibility, but not a sure thing.

10. Democrats will not fall for the 'electable' BS again. Look at Kerry.

12. Sure they will.
They do it every time. Sometimes they are even right. Which they may be with the Hill.

3. I don't think that an Edwards/Clark ticket is going to happen.
A part of me is hoping that Al Gore will throw his hat in. I just hate the thought of having someone who so unequivocally supported the invasion of Iraq. I know that view is considered quaint on DU these days, but it's the way I feel.

4. Maybe Clark should be allowed to enter the race
before it's decided that he's lost it.

7. My prediction is that the Democratic ticket in 2008 will be
Hillary and Wes Clark. Not my preference, just what I think will ultimately happen, for better or for worse.
